Elves & The Shoemaker

On Saturday, I brought the girls to visit my parents and we decided to have dinner at Downtown East. It’s been so long since I last stepped into Downtown East, and it was really rowdy and colourful with Christmas decorations. Downtown East always gives me a relaxed holiday feel. Love it. =)

I didn’t know there is an on-going Christmas production going on there, so when we happened to walk past the central atrium area at 7pm when the performance was about to start, the girls immediately sat down together with the crowd and watched. The production was a familiar story – ‘Elves & The Shoemaker’!

The production was a musical, and the songs were all chirpy & joyful!

Check out the crowd. =) Kids love this kind of thing, don’t they?

There is a ‘story-teller’ who’s dressed up as a fairy, and she told the story from the beginning to the end. She’s a really pretty narrator!

The elf! =)

The duration of the performance was about 10 minutes, with a Meet-and-Greet at the end. I thought it was a rather entertaining show, mainly because of the nice songs used during the performance. Overall, it was a show worth catching, especially when it’s FREE! =)

After the show, Grandpa treated them to grape-flavoured cotton candy! =)
