Finally, March School Holidays Begin

This week is the March school holidays for Joey, so Isaiah and I took leave to bring the girls out to play. TODAY is the beginning of our five-day holidays! (Thursday – Monday) I wish we are bringing the girls somewhere overseas, but nope, we’re staying put in Singapore, so I need to plan where to bring them!

First up, we are kick-starting the holidays with a vacation Art class today at WowArt Studio, who has kindly sponsored the girls for a specialty class each today. Joey will be attending the Copper Tooling class while Jayne will learn about Batik Painting. I hope it will be fun for them! =P

After an artistic morning, we will be heading to Sentosa! Thanks to Sentosa, we received our Family Islander cards some months back, but we haven’t had the chance to use them. The Family Islander passes entitle us to free admission into the island and there are discounts for almost all the places of interest and dining places. So it would be a good chance to utilise the privileges!

Plus, I heard about the Sentosa Kidz Flea that’s happening on 10 – 18 March, 2.30pm – 7.30pm daily at Merlion Plaza, and was hoping to check it out! This is the first flea market in Singapore run by kids themselves! ‘Playtrepreneurs’, aged between 7 and 12 and accompanied by an adult, will put on their business suit apron, set up their booths and learn the ropes of selling while having some good playtime! Free popcorn and candy floss would be given to Islander cardholders, and there are also interesting programmes happening throughout the duration. Check this out if you are planning to bring your kids too:

10 March
Symphonic Band by Nanyang Technological University

11,14 & 17 March
Magic Show

12 & 15 March
Puppetry

13, 16 & 18 March
Balloon Twisting

The tentative plan for tomorrow is to bring the girls to the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden! It’s been quite some time since our last visit there, so I’m sure the girls are raring to go! They can play at the water playground, climb the treehouse and have a picnic at the lawn area. I think it would be so much fun! =)

That’s all the planning I’ve done so far. Haha only two days! Hopefully, I’ll be able to pack the remaining three days with meaningful programmes! =P Hope your March school holidays are nice & fun too! =D
