The J Babies had a blast at the first wildlife themed playground in Singapore over the weekend!
This new dry+wet playground located on the rooftop of Tampines1 Mall is one of its kind simply because not only is it a place where kids can have fun running around and playing with water, they also learn about animals and wildlife in the process! Edu-play, or mixing education with play, is always the way to go! =)
Many parent bloggers were invited to the Preview Party last Saturday. Our kids were given one-hour exclusive play time, and they had so much fun. The moment we reached, the kids were attracted by the animal mascots walking around! Interestingly, my kids seemed to have overcome their phobia of mascots all of a sudden! I’m secretly pleased. Perhaps a visit to USS is in order soon.
But THESE were what totally won me over right from the start. How adorable can they get???!! Animal cupcakes!
There was a balloonist walking around, folding different cute balloons for the kids.
Another interesting element of the party was the photo booth. We could choose from different props and hats and make 3 poses.
Our pretty photo came out in an instance! SO CUTE! =D
Finally, the party was officially declared started, and the kids dashed right into the playground!
There were plants in the shape of animals. =) And there was an information board for each animal plant structure, helping kids understand more about these animals in the wild.
The playground is divided into different sections, signifying different parts of the world. The animals found in different sections are symbolic of the countries portrayed.
The kids were also given water guns – Perfect for water playgrounds!
The girls had a splashing good time on a hot afternoon. =D
For those who do not want to get wet but still have fun, there is a dry playground portion as well. =)
The nice landscaping gave me a resort feel, while waiting for my girls to play to their hearts’ content. =) I like it!
Check out this new free playground soon! =D
