Some Of The Best Things In Singapore Are Free

Last Saturday, I decided against rotting at home and thought of bringing the kids somewhere for an adventure. Since Google is my best friend, I went on the internet and found that there was going to be a Barney Meet & Greet that day at Changi Airport! So, I excitedly told the kids we were going to watch Barney! Plus, the Changi Airport is such a wonderful place to visit anytime. A sure score-point with my kids.

To redeem an entry pass for 4 pax into the Barney show area, a minimum spending of $20 is required. I was very determined to have lunch at the airport, then redeem the passes so that my kids can sit comfortably in the show area and take photographs with Barney at the end. But the world's full of Barney-loving kids and their parents, so by the time we reached (one hour before show starts), the queue to redeem the passes was so long I could not see the end. =.= We decided to go one level up and watch the show from upstairs. The view was not as fantastic, but at least the kids managed to catch the 15-minute show packed with famous Barney songs and action.

This was one level up and see how much crowd there was. The crowd downstairs was 100x worse.

This Barney was very agile. He was jumping and swaying throughout! =) The kids went crazy, literally. Everyone was clapping, cheering and singing along. It was really quite a sight. =D

Thank goodness my kids didn't make a fuss about getting into the show area, and were happy enough watching from upstairs. =) Even though it was a short 15-minute performance, they really enjoyed it.

After the show, we decided to walk around Changi Airport and take the skytrain to Terminal Two for ice-cream. I love how clean, cool and lovely our airport is. It's a joy to spend time here with my family, even though we are not taking a plane somewhere else. See how the best things in life sometimes don't cost a single cent? =)

Kids don't ask for much. They are pretty much satisfied and happy to run around, chase each other and laugh at the smallest things.

While waiting for the skytrain, these kids of mine were up to mischief again. They were climbing everywhere, but I thought they were really cute. The younger one copied the elder one in whatever she did, as usual. :)

I have to admit that when these girls are not creating a din, they are really adorable. They make me smile all the time with their cheeky antics. One of the best things in my life. =D

Passed by a coffee joint, and saw this whole shelf of old school biscuit tins. Love the vintage look!

Reached Terminal Two and we headed to Swensens for some ice-cream! My kids love ice-cream more than anything else. I'm sure yours are the same.

Love these photos of Papa Isaiah & the girls. So much love between them - One of the best things in life definitely. =)

Topless 5 FTW!

Some of the best things in life are free, but we had to pay for our ice-cream. =P
