If you've been following this blog from the beginning of time, you'd have read various stories of Mary & Robert. If you cannot remember, let me refresh your memory:
This was the very 1st time we met Mary & Robert:
Love their double chins and no-where-to-be-found necks.
This was yet another entry that came later, when they were older:
This is the period where they love playing with chopsticks and spoons.
And then how about this one when they were already active toddlers who ran everywhere?
It's amazing how fast time flies by. Now, Mary & Robert are pre-schoolers and good in articulation and full of interesting expressions. They can stay in Children's Church all by themselves and are a lot more independent now. After church services last Sunday, we went for lunch and guess what these kids were doing?
Busy playing IPADS! We even have enough for all 3 kiddos to have an IPAD each. =P
It's amazing how fast kids nowadays catch on with technology. Without anyone teaching them, they can fiddle and control the IPAD, activate the games they want to play, and switch to other games at ease.
I had a thought while watching the kids: They grow UP together, while their parents grow OLD together. =X
And it's nice that because they are friends, they can play together and entertain each other, while the adults ate and fellowshipped on a Sunday afternoon. The kids were running and chasing each other in circles nearby, which is totally fine by me as long as they don't injure each other.
By the way, I am a big fan of Macau Express, which I've only seen at Singapore Expo so far. I love their food and the big outdoor seating area.
Iced milk tea
And my absolute favourite: Chicken chop baked rice. YUMS!!
Don't you agree that a happy life is filled with simple things like good food & good time spent with friends? =)
