They Love Meeting Princesses

No, not real princesses of course.

I'm talking about brides. My girls love attending weddings and at every wedding, they look forward to seeing the bride. They fondly refer to the bride as the princess. They absolutely have no interest in the groom whatsoever. To them, he is almost non-existent.

I guess it's every little girl's fantasy to be able to marry their Prince Charming, and one day, walk down the aisle in a beautiful white gown with a super long train. I just didn't expect such fantasies to start this early.

Last weekend, we attended the Holy Matrimony of a friend I practically grew up with. The wedding was held in a Noah's Ark lookalike chapel. I'm not joking - The entire time I was inside the chapel, I kept imagining we were animals waiting for the flood to subside.

Presenting Noah's Ark. It's a nice-looking chapel nevertheless.

The girls absolutely love the march-in, kissing-the-bride and the march-out, in that order. They have to take seats nearest to the aisle so that they can catch the bride's march-in unobstructed. Their majorly-excited expressions are super cute.

Interestingly, although my girls love weddings, they have never been flower girls before. Well, Joey almost did, but she backed out before the wedding, which was totally expected. And Jayne's going to have her maiden march-in as flower girl in one of my cell group friends' wedding in a couple of months' time. I think I might cry.

The princess! =) The theme of the wedding was purple, so you can see, Jayne flowed very well that day.

Very lovely to see a pretty flower girl holding the train behind the bride. :)

Many blissful years ahead, Stephanie & Tong! =)
