Yes, I've come onboard as a Blog Champion with NTUC U Family! :) You might have noticed that I recently did a giveaway on this blog, courtesy of U Family, and the winners will be announced at the end of this post! In my previous post, I briefly mentioned that U Family is a community that advocates the building of strong and happy families by championing work-life integration for working families. Parenthood need not be a lonely journey - Getting to know other parents definitely helps to make this journey an easier and happier one. We all need support in one way or another, and getting involved in a community that understands the struggles and problems you go through everyday is a good way to make life a lot easier. Plus, it's always nice to have fun activities all planned out for you, and you just need to bring your family and turn up for a good time! I am an advocate of outdoor family time. Perhaps hubby and I are both very outdoor people and so are my kids, so we spend most of our weekends drenched in sweat somewhere outdoors in Singapore. =P Many friends tell me they envy our high energy levels to do it every weekend, and that they get tired just packing the bags to go out. But seriously, just do what works best for your family. If we had spent all our weekends indoors or at home, we would not have survived this long. 
And this was the most recent event organised by U Family that we attended. It was the Baby Day's Out National Day celebration:

So you see why I like being a part of U Family. They organise lots of activities that we are interested in! Some of the upcoming events organised by U Family include the U Picnic (Tickets all sold out and it's happening this weekend!), Family Nightout Mega Dance (which I will be going with my family on 24 Nov!), etc etc. Check out the U Family website for more events coming up, and if you are not yet a part of U Family, I strongly encourage you to sign up (free by the way!) here, and if you do so before the end of the year, you will get a Scotch-Brite Multipurpose Scrub Sponge as a welcome gift, complimentary of Scotch-Brite. :) Speaking of which, Scotch-Brite had also kindly sent over a welcome hamper for being one of the blog champions for U Family, and the hamper thrilled me and my MIL to no end. Good quality household products are so important for our sanity! Gets the cleaning jobs done fast and well. :) By the way, did you know there are so many different types of sponges available??
