Joey was busy cooking yesterday. :)

In the morning, she made pancakes...

She loves to stir, so she had lots of fun helping me stir... =D

At night, she made glutinous dumpling - tang yuan!

Hee.. so happy seeing the two of them eat... ;)

Grandma's birthday was on 24 Dec, Christmas eve, and we went to celebrate at Swensens' the other day.

Some of the things we would always order when we go swensen's are french fries and ice cream! I really like their french fries!

And of course, since we are celebrating birthday, we ordered the firehouse ice cream.. to my disappointment though, they no longer use sparklers but changes to candle instead....

A mixed fruit salad that tasted very 'unique' indeed... =P There are mangoes, longans and jackfruits inside topped with blanched prawns and a mango dressing.. Very very tropical fruitty feel...

The pasta was good. :)

We had our CG Thanksgiving last Sat and boy, IT WAS FUN!!! =D

I sure had fun preparing for the thanksgiving and hoped everyone had fun too. Had our event at this cosy pizza & pasta place at Temasek Towers - Aglio Olio. As it's right smacked in the middle of the commercial area, it was practically a ghost town on a Sat afternoon. We didn't book the whole restaurant, but we had the whole restaurant to ourselves anyway. Great!

The theme for the thanksgiving was 'SCARFS & TIES', and everyone turned up in either a scarf or a tie. Even Baby Joey!

Even though my figure is out of shape at the moment, I still had to wear a pretty scarf, i dun care!!! hahaha...

Joey was in a super photo mood that day! She insisted on being in EVERY photo!

We had our fun games, testimony-sharing and of course, the awards ceremony to round up the whole year! Dinner was free flow soups, garlic bread, chicken wings, wedges, pizza and pasta!! Really yummy and thumbs-up for the great service!!!!! =D

I love candlelight services. It not only reminds me that God is light and I am called to be a light of this world, but it also reminds us that one small light can light up an entire hall just by passing the light along. :)

I attended 2 candlelight services this week. On sat, left Joey with my mum so that I can attend the service. Joey joined us for the Sunday service, and she too, had a share in the candlelight service. =)

But so sad, didn't manage to catch a decent photo with Joey! Her eyes were closed in all the shots I took together with her!!

But thank God we managed to get a nice Kuan Family photo. How heartwarming. :)

Joey had a busy weekend, but fun for her, as usual. :)

Went to the Changi airport on Sat and it was really fun! With a minimum spending of $50, kids are given coupons for a free kiddy ride and an entry pass into the candyhouse to pick out sweets and candies of their choice! How cool is that?!

The highlight was really the candyhouse though. Check it out!

Every kid is given a special tumbler and they can fill their tumblers with as many candies and chocolates as they can fit in with the lid closed. :)

On Sunday, Joey was in church as usual and playing in the playgym area again. This time round, she met a special friend!

And all the kids just ran and ran round and round and whole gym, jumped in and out of the ball pool... they have endless energy!!!!

I was so tired after just 5 minutes... =P
