An Official Joey Day (Part II)

After having a splashing good time at the water playground, we went on to explore the rest of the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden. The weather was great! Such a happy feeling walking in the sunshine admiring the beautiful flowers. =)

I always love bringing my kids to such gardens and parks because I can show them so many different plants and stuffs we eat all the time.

Chili plant!

This is a plant that Joey can recognise herself without me pointing it out to her. :)

Joey’s favorite has got to be the mimosa or ‘Touch-me-not’. I think it’s such an amazing experience to see leaves move and close up upon touch! I remain amazed even to this day. Our Creator is a very creative God!

But poor touch-me-nots, I hear that once they close up, it takes them a period of time to open up again right? =P

Found this pretty potting garden which was locked up. I think this might make a nice venue for a garden party!

And of course, the signature Tree house in the garden. I won’t mind staying in such a summer vacation house. =D

There are so many flowers and plants in the entire garden, but nothing like one pity little white flower fallen on the road that attracts Joey’s attention. She devoted one whole minute staring at it. =P

We found a mini waterfall in the garden!

And I love hanging bridges!
