It's kinda weird, but it's true. I am a fan of Spongebob Squarepants.

I do not know what is it about them that attracts me, but I guess the catchy theme song played a big part. I've always been one who's easily moved by music. I like the theme song so much that I googled for the lyrics and sang it at home AND forced my kids to do the "Spongebob Squarepants!!!!" part as loud as they can. Okay, not really.

Some weekends back, we went to check out the Slime Cup 2013 event organised by Nickelodeon at Downtown East. There were some fringe activities for the kids to play, but the highlight of the evening has got to be the appearance of Spongebob & Patrick. I even took a photograph with them (YES!!!!).

 

The kids got really excited while waiting for the stars to appear. I was one of them.

Stole this photo from hubby. The kids saw it and exclaimed, "Mummy, why did you block Patrick??!!!"
