Swensen's Jewels Of The Moon

Advertorial

The ice-cream from Swensen's is always a crowd-pleaser, and come this Mid-Autumn Festival, you can have them in the form of mooncakes!

In celebration of the special occasion, Swensen's has rolled out six delectable ice cream mooncakes, including three brand new contenders and three all-time-favourites, hailed as 'Jewels of the Moon'.

Six wonderful flavours as follows!

This is for those with adventurous taste buds. Chempedak, also known as jackfruit, is the star of this creation. The distinct flavor of the jackfruit blends perfectly with cream to create an unbelievably smooth and aromatic ice cream, with a slight fruity twist – a divine combination that will leave you wanting more.

Caffeine addict? Tame those cravings with Cappuccino Cookies Crunch mooncake. Fragrant cappuccino mixed with sweet cookie bits for a delightful crunch in every bite.

Go nuts with Hazelnut Almond Delight. The result of this simple combination of hazelnuts and almonds is a delectable treat that is hard for anyone to refuse.

Swensen’s signature ice cream mooncake makes a comeback this Mid-Autumn. Savour Swensen’s most popular ice cream flavor, Sticky Chewy Chocolate, wrapped in a soft, chewy snow skin that yields to an icy creamy goodness with every bite. A good old favorite that simply cannot be missed.

The “King of Fruits” never disappoints. Premium D24 durians are used for a full-bodied, flavorful treat that keeps the durian fans coming back for more.

Looking for a crowd-pleaser? This old school strawberry ice cream mooncake made from the sweetest harvest will sure be on the hit-list for all ages.

My kids are not exactly fans of traditional mooncakes, but when it comes to ice-cream mooncakes, you bet they can finish them up in no time at all. I especially like the Durian Royale flavour, though I wish the skin can be done better. It would be perfect if the skin's like those of icy-skin mooncakes which is more on the chewy side.

Swensen’s Jewels of the Moon Mooncake Collection is priced at $29.80 for a box of 4 (with choice of flavours) or $8.60 per piece. Available from 1 August 2013 to 19 September 2013 at all Swensen’s and Earle Swensen’s outlets. No pre-orders are required.

ANZ, Citibank, DBS/POSB, HSBC, OCBC and UOB cardholders can enjoy an early bird special of 15% discount before 5th September 2013 and a 10% discount thereafter till 19th September 2013. Swensen's Cool Rewards & Kids' Club members can enjoy 20% early bird special & 15% discount thereafter.
