I organised a birthday party for a group of 50 people at Platypus Kitchen a few days back, and I really like the place because it is conducive for large groups, has a very decent and reasonably-priced set dinner (Starting from $16.90 - Comes with choice of main course, soup/salad and a drink), coupled with wonderful customer service. I called only a day before the event, and they readily took my reservation for such a large group, and was very helpful throughout!

The restaurant has a very cosy ambience with warm lighting.

The appetizers were pretty good and worth a try.

We ordered set dinners which came with a choice of main course (from 18 different choices!), soup (choice of 3 soups) or salad, and a drink. Some cost $16.90++ while others cost $19.90++, depending on your choice of main course. I think it's good value for money.

The main course I chose was Lemon Prawn Parppadelle, which was nice with generous serving of prawns.

I'll be back to try their other menu items another time. :)
