Celebrate the Christmas holidays with the new enchanting garden display designed by award-winning landscape designer, Kazuyuki Ishihara! In my opinion, this is the prettiest themed display I’ve seen so far!
Starting from 20 November 2013 to 5 January 2014, the Flower Dome's horticultural centrepiece transforms into a whimsical creation using edible produce such as strawberries, pineapples, pumpkins, capsicums and tomatoes, woven together with a magical story of love, hope and joy. Stemming from Ishihara's belief in the power of food to bridge the disparities in society, the display features two characters - a pineapple boy called "Ananas" and a strawberry girl "Berry". Both have to live apart because of their different growing conditions until one day when they stumble upon a garden with a special mountain that provides for all their needs. In this paradise of theirs, they build a home and live happily ever after. What a romantic story! :P
Christmas flowers are so pretty!
This is one special themed display where you will get to see tomatoes, brinjals, peppers and of course, strawberries & pineapples. :)
Also expect to see lots of pretty and colourful flowers – They will totally brighten up your day! :)
These looked so green & crisp I have a strong urge to pluck them and eat them. =X
Very educational for kids in my opinion – They have never seen the vegetables they usually eat grow on trees and plants. My kids were very amazed when they recognized them!
This Christmas, pay a visit to the Flower Dome – You’ll love the new display!
