I was very excited when Javelynn of Profero (Digital marketing agency of Walt Disney Motion Pictures) emailed me one fine day and asked me if I was interested to attend a preview screening of upcoming Disney 3D animation – ‘Mars Needs Moms’. Why of course!! My kids and I are huge fans of Walt Disney productions!

The best part of it was that I could gather my mummy blogger friends and attend the preview screening together before it was officially released in the cinemas! It was a good opportunity to meet up with my friends and simply enjoy a night out together with our kids. =) It was also going to be Joey’s 1st ever 3D movie! She’s so going to LOVE the 3D specs, I tell you!
Produced by the team behind ‘Disney’s A Christmas Carol’ and ‘The Polar Express’, ‘Mars Needs Moms’ showcases nine-year-old Milo’s (Seth Green) quest to save his mom (Joan Cusack) from Martians—a wild adventure in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D that involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader (Mindy Sterling). Sounds like such an exciting movie, doesn’t it?!

I have no doubt that it would be a movie that tugs at the hearts of myself and my mummy blogger friends, simply because the overall theme talks about how important a mummy is, and how a kid went all out to save his mom. I love movies that have both the thrills and the heart-warming bits. =D

I took a look at the trailer and was pretty amazed at how good the quality of animation was. At certain parts, I even forgot that I was actually watching an animation! The scenes look so real-life and the storyline is definitely captivating. I think my Joey would be so intrigued by the scenes especially in the outer space!
