Just when everyone I know has been to the Universal Studios Singapore, I finally went myself!!! Last Thursday, we brought the girls and my mum-in-law and off we went exploring the supposedly most exciting place in Singapore at the moment!
It was a super hot day. We’re thankful the weather’s so perfect for an outing like this. =)

I love the first impression I had of USS. It was like stepping into a different world altogether! USS is divided into different ‘worlds’ and themes, and this first one was Hollywood.

The first mascot we saw was Frankenstein!

Kungfu Panda was just in front of the Popcorn truck, but we didn’t manage to catch a photo with him. One thing I was bewildered about the USS was how short each photo-taking session was! There were several mascots we missed simply because the staff said it was time up.

The popcorn truck was too cute!!!

As we entered the next world, New York, we saw many lovely antique cars parked outside a grill shop.

Stepping into Sci-Fi City, look what I saw?!! It’s the Battlestar Galactica! After a 8-month hiatus, it finally begun operation again, and there were many people there waiting to take a ride! But OF COURSE, we didn’t. Both hubby and I have phobia of roller coasters! Ha!

We took the much-less-scary Accelerator instead! The swift swirling twirling action was fun! It totally reminded me of the rotating cups & saucers we used to play as kids in an old amusement park at East Coast!

Joey was too scaredy cat to join us, so only Baby Jayne did!
Haha, it was fun enough for our little girl. =)

Check back tomorrow for Part II!
