Went for a birthday celebration last night for my boss, and I brought Baby Jayne along with me. The party was at Food For Thought, Botanic Gardens, and I love the place so much! The food was very awesome (though portion was too little for our group of 40 people), and the ambience was very nice. There was also a small playground right outside the restaurant, which made it a really family-friendly venue.

Baby Jayne went around making friends with nice Uncles & Aunties who played with her and entertained her, while I went around making arrangements for the party dinner. It's always nice to see that she mingles easily with people, and is definitely not a shy girl. Love her for being sociable and friendly. :)

On weekdays, I usually go home right after work, because I can only get to spend a couple of hours with the kids before they go to bed. On nights when I need to be out doing something, I miss out on that with my girls. Bringing Baby Jayne out with me last night was nice, because I got to spend some one-on-one time with her while I did what I needed to do. Joey didn't go along because she needs to be in bed by 9pm on a school day. I had to pacify a tantrum-throwing girl before we made it out of the house. =P

More about Food For Thought birthday party another time. I love the food there, especially their Bacon Aglio Olio, and will surely be back again soon!
