The Imagination area of Legoland was colourful and happy-looking, except that it started pouring shortly after we reached this area. Thank goodness, there was a huge sheltered playground there for the kids, and we took refuge in it for 1.5 hours while it poured like crazy. It was in good timing too, because Baby Jayne finally took a nap after playing non-stop for 5 hours.
These musical instruments made of Lego bricks played happy tunes as we walked past. :)
It is also here that parents can find a huge Baby Care Room, for diaper changing, hot water for making milk, breastfeeding etc. There's staff at the entrance to ensure that only parents with babies and kids can enter, so it's not being abused.
Here at this area, there's a pizza restaurant - Smells really good!
This sheltered playground is really huge with many different playgrounds and even a mini train that runs at one corner.
Check out these cornstalks & pineapples made of Lego bricks!
Several attractions can be found at this area. There's a 4D movie theatre, the Observation Tower, and a Build & Test Centre!
The Build & Test Centre is very interesting. Basically, the kids can build their own cars or vehicles, and then test them by sliding them down the slide.
The kids were thrilled and proud to see their own creations racing down the slope! =D I think this is a great idea, because it encourages the kids to be creative and definitely boosts their confidence when they see their own creations run well.
The next area was the Lego Kingdoms, which featured castles, knights, horses & swords.
We met some cute bugs on logs.
The dragon roller-coasters are here! =D Big ones and small ones respectively for adults and kids. All four of us dared not try. =P
A kid-friendly and very popular attraction at this area is the horse-galloping, where kids can sit on one of these horses and gallop in the garden. We didn't go for this because the queue was way too long..
What greeted us at the next area - Lego Academy - was this amazing Einstein's face. Really, really cool.
The kids were intrigued by this Aquazone Wave Racers - You can get wet at this attraction too.
But even if you get wet, you don't have to worry, because there's huge dryers for you to pay & use to dry yourself!
If you are a family who seeks thrill & excitement, you've got to try this roller-coaster. It slides down from a super steep height. =X
My family only dared to pose. =P
Our last ride of the day was on this Technic Twister, where we were turned and twisted round and round, we got dizzy! So much fun!
Final instalment on Legoland up tomorrow, and it's on the MiniLand!
The J Babies received complimentary tickets to visit the park. This is Part 2 of a three-part review on Legoland. All photographs and opinions are 100% my own.
