Joey's birthday was in April, about a month ago. But because of the incident that happened, we only just celebrated it for her yesterday! Ahem, better late than never right?
It has been a busy few months for me, so I didn't really have time to plan and prepare for the party. Thank God Cadbury decided to sponsor the Joyrider Bus ride for Joey's birthday party, so that basically took care of all the entertainment needs for the party. :P I only started doing the decorations the night before the party, so it's pretty simple this year. As usual, I enjoyed making all the decorations - It's something I always loved to do! :)

Our friends gathered at our house before the Joyrider begun. A group photo before we set off! Big thank you to all our friends who came all decked out in purple!! What a great joy it is to be able to celebrate with dear friends like these.
Our Joyrider was waiting downstairs at my block of flats. Such a cute-looking bus, and it sure felt like we were going on an excursion! Everyone was very excited, and we were all trying to take photographs of the happy-looking Joyrider. Now, if you would also like to charter the joyrider for one hour to celebrate any events or occasion, you may do with with just a minimum spend of S$20 on Cadbury chocolates! Different activity packages can be customized according to the occasion, be it a girl’s night out or a corporate event. Booking is done through Joyrider.SG or via the hotline at 62328515. Proof of purchase is required. It is such a cool (and very affordable) way to have a celebration with your friends! BUT, the joyrider runs only in April & May, so quickly check out the website before all the slots are taken up!
On board the joyrider, there were two friendly and happy-looking hosts who handed out chocolates to the guests and also played simple games with everyone. Like what one of my friends said, the amount of chocolates they gave out on the joyrider far exceeded the minimum $20 purchase!
On board the joyrider, you will also find props and party hats & accessories for photo-taking. Our very funny and sporting friends sure made the one-hour a very hilarious and fun time!
Everyone left the joyrider with super a lot of chocolates!!! And all these are my absolute favourite Marvellous Creations!
It was a relaxing & fun time with all our friends indeed. If only the joyrider runs all year round! It is such a great way to celebrate birthdays in an unconventional way. :)

Then we got back to my house again for refreshment & cake-cutting (with our pockets full of Cadbury chocolates :P). Joey's birthday cake is sponsored by Swensen's this year, and it's the first time we had an ice-cream cake for our parties! It was a perfect dessert and everyone enjoyed it very much.
