We brought the kids for a durian feast on National Day. Nothing like the King of Fruits to mark a special day for Singapore. =)
It was not as crowded as usual. Half of Singapore probably went to City Hall/ Marina Square area to catch the NDP spirit. It was nice and cool along the streets of Geylang. =)

The stall was bustling with energy and bright lights.

Abundance of durians! I heard that they had a bumper harvest this time round, so durians are mostly going at very cheap prices. We ate 3 big durians for $15!

My dad was the one with the craving that day and made us all go for a durian feast! Haha!

Most durian stalls are now equipped with tissue paper, drinking water and large baskets to dispose off the durian shells. Very convenient to buy, sit, eat and leave!

My brother is not a fan of durians, but he’s seated with us all in the name of fellowship. Love family time!!!

Between the girls, Joey is the one who enjoys durians more. Baby Jayne plays more than eats. =.= She finds it a little too squeamish i think.
