.... the many opportunities and blessings in my blogging journey this year.

I've always been a rather happy and contented person. My life has mostly been smooth-sailing with lots of opportunities to excel and doing things I enjoy, people and friends around to guide and help me, and I constantly feel loved and appreciated. The only desire in my heart was to travel and see the world more. It's ironic that the desire to travel was not so great before I had kids. Now that I've got kids and it's harder (and definitely more expensive) to travel, I keep wanting to! The irony of life.

And so, I had been secretly praying that I can have more opportunities to travel overseas. Finances is an issue of course, but I just kept 'confessing' and 'chanting' it in my heart that opportunities will come. That was two years ago.

Now in November 2012, I looked back at the last two years and continued to feel amazed at the number of overseas trips I made in a span of two years! I've travelled more in the last two years than my whole life combined! God is truly amazing, and is one who hears my silent prayers! SPEAK IT INTO EXISTENCE!

2011

April: Travelled to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Very good promotion on Tiger airways)
July: Travelled to Bali, Indonesia for beach vacation (Air tickets fully sponsored by Jetstar!)
September: Went Taiwan with Jayne, my parents & brother (My brother fully sponsored this trip!)
October: Wedding Anniversary holiday with hubby to Bangkok
December: Corporate Retreat to Bintan, Indonesia for whole family (Fully sponsored by boss!)
December: Church Retreat to Pulai Springs Resort, Malaysia

Now, that's 5 different countries in 2011! Let's take a look at this year, 2012.

2012

January: Travelled to Kukup, Malaysia (Sponsored by Dad!)
April: Travelled to Darwin (Fully sponsored by SilkAir & Northern Territories Tourism, Australia)
June: Travelled to Gold Coast (Very good promotion on Scoot)
October: Wedding Anniversary holiday with hubby to Tokyo (Accommodation sponsored by Roomorama)
November: Travelled to Perth (Mostly sponsored by FAB Lavender)

Truly, I am in awe of the miracle that God has done for me in the last two years through blogging and the blessings of many people in my life! Through it all, I've met new people and made new friends, and have learnt so much from the different ones I've met from different walks of life. My life has truly been enriched on this journey. If you too have a desire in your heart, why don't you start confessing for it to come to pass in the next 365 days? There is great power in confession.
