Kids-friendly Restaurant: A For Arbite

My friends and I were planning to head to Eatplaylove cafe last weekend but it was closed for private event, so we hopped by next door to A For Arbite - Great decision it turned out to be!

Love the clean-cut look of the restaurant - and not crowded on a Saturday! Perhaps it's not located at the most convenient location connected by MRT, but I would make it a point to come back again because of many reasons - The food's decent, environment is quiet and not crowded, and the staff are friendly to my kids. There were even stuffs to entertain them. Thumbs up.

There is something about tall ceilings and wall chalkboards that make me feel really relaxed.

Ordered a pot of Earl Grey tea and it was served in this pretty glass pot at $5 only. Little pretty details make me happy.

Kids' menu is available, which is pretty awesome for parents of course. Each kid's meal costs $7 (I think so) and comes with a drink. The kids chose nuggets and fish & chips. There's also pasta on the menu.

My friends decided to share a set meal for 2 pax ($49.90++) - But it was pretty alright for four of us. We were all quite full by the end of the meal. The set meal had 4 courses. Appetizer was fabulous - Fried shrimps (the horn-lookalike thing) and fried fish.

Minestrone soup was yummy! Lots of ingredients in it with abundant flavours.

The kids' meals were good, and portions were quite big.

The main course for the adults was an assortment of meats - Lamb shank, sausage and chicken chop served with vegetables and a sunny side up. Very sumptuous and carnivorous.

The meats were done pretty well - Not overcooked.

Then while the adults fellowshipped, the kids were entertained by lego bricks and pick-up-sticks provided by the staff. So nice. :)

Finally, the dessert was served - cream puffs with chocolate fudge drenched on it.

It was a lovely Saturday afternoon - the kind I like. :)

Some basic info incase you want to check out the place:
